Who we are

Outburst Consulting S.A. is a software and infrastructure consulting firm registered in Costa Rica. When this policy says "we," "us," or "Outburst," it means Outburst Consulting S.A. You can reach our privacy contact at info@outburstconsulting.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us through one of two forms on this site:

• Contact form: name, email, optional company, and the message you send us.
• Careers form: name, email, phone, optional cover note, and an optional PDF resume.

We also receive your IP address and basic request metadata (browser, timestamp) automatically, which is normal for any website. We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not sell your data.

Why we collect it

To respond to you. The contact form is for inquiries about our services. The careers form is for evaluating your application. That is the only purpose we process this data for. We do not send marketing emails.

Where it goes

Form submissions are routed to our private Slack workspace, which is the only place they are stored long-term. The infrastructure that delivers this site and processes form posts uses these sub-processors:

• Cloudflare (USA / global edge): website hosting, DDoS protection, and Turnstile captcha verification.
• Slack (USA): receiving and storing form submissions and uploaded resumes.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and security controls. We do not share your information with anyone else.

How long we keep it

• Contact-form messages are kept indefinitely in our Slack history unless you ask us to delete them.
• Job-application materials (including resumes) are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Server logs (IP addresses, request metadata) are kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information you have submitted to us. If you are in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, those rights are guaranteed by law. To make a request, email info@outburstconsulting.com from the address you used to contact us. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set tracking cookies. The only cookies present are functional ones set by Cloudflare to protect the site against abuse (for example, the Turnstile captcha challenge). We do not use third-party analytics that track individuals across the web.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 30 days.
